Launch of digital support and funding for SME’s

Eligible SMEs in the Leeds City Region are set to benefit from a major £8.5million support programme that will help them invest in digital technology and skills.

Launched on 7th February 2017, The Digital Enterprise programme is planning to offer a Digital Growth Voucher for qualifying SMEs to make investments in digital technologies or enhance their technical skills. The voucher of up £5,000 will be available to assist eligible businesses with the funds required to upgrade their resources such as a website, digital connections or hardware and software.

The Digital Enterprise Programme could be a great chance for proactive SMEs who are really looking to take their business to the next level.  At Naylor Wintersgill, we’re always looking out for opportunities in order to facilitate our client’s growth and this support, which is available to businesses across the Leeds City Region through the LEP’s growth service, could help towards the costs of upgrading your digital or ICT solutions - giving you the push needed to move forward in what is a competitive market.

The programme is part-funded by the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014 – 2020 and will be managed by Leeds City Council.

The LEP have also announced that later in the year there will also be a series of workshops, master classes and mentoring support available through the Programme covering hot digital topics such as social media and cyber security – both high on the agenda for many businesses.

We have had great success in assisting some of clients through the application process for a number of funding opportunities on offer so please contact us if you would like any further information or would like help to access your eligibility based on your specific circumstances.
