Ian qualified in 1977 and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
After 25 years in practice in Pudsey, he joined Naylor Wintersgill in 2002 and continued to focus on accounting, finance and tax advice and support to owner managed businesses a number of whom have been Ian’s clients for over thirty years.
Ian has a wide ranging portfolio of clients with a strong focus on charities and other not-for-profit entities. He also has a particular interest in Value Added Tax issues.
Ian has been a governor at Priesthorpe School, Pudsey for many years and is also a trustee of The Frank Parkinson Yorkshire Trust as well as the treasurer of a couple of local community groups.
He is married with two daughters and two grandchildren and lives in Calverley. In between work, school, home and grandchildren, Ian enjoys travelling and hill-walking and is a supporter of Leeds Rhinos.
